Description

The Fortinet FortiWeb 4000F is a high-performance 2U hardware web application firewall (WAF) and API protection appliance delivering up to 70 Gbps of throughput. This configuration provides 2x 40GE QSFP bypass ports, 10x 10GE SFP+ ports (2 with bypass), 8x GE RJ45 bypass ports, 2x 960GB SSD storage and dual AC power supplies, making it well suited to large data centres and service providers that need inline protection with fail-open connectivity.

FortiWeb uses machine learning to defend web applications and APIs against known and zero-day threats while keeping false positives low. Hardware SSL/TLS processing, advanced bot mitigation and integration with the Fortinet Security Fabric give security teams a scalable platform, with active/passive and active/active clustering for high availability.

• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
