Description

The Juniper SRX345-DUAL-AC is a 1U branch firewall and secure SD-WAN router with 16 x 1GbE ports (8 x RJ-45 and 8 x SFP), up to 5 Gbps firewall throughput and dual redundant AC power supplies. It consolidates security, routing, switching and WAN connectivity in one chassis, making it well suited to midsize to large distributed enterprise branch offices. This SKU is the hardware-only chassis and does not include a JSB or JSE software licence.

Four Mini-PIM slots allow WAN expansion with Ethernet, T1/E1, ADSL2/2+, VDSL or 3G/4G LTE modules, and an optional 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi module is available. The hot-swappable dual AC supplies keep the unit running if one fails. An SRX345 JSB or JSE licence is required to complete the system: JSB covers basic firewall, NAT, IPsec, routing, MPLS and switching, while JSE adds AppID, application firewall and IPS.
