Description

The FortiProxy 4000E is a 2U secure web gateway and proxy appliance built for large deployments, licensed for 10,000 to 50,000 users. It combines multiple detection techniques to protect against internet-borne attacks, and offers inline, transparent/WCCP, explicit and routed proxy deployment modes. This SKU provides 4x GE RJ45, 2x GE SFP and 4x 10GE SFP+ interfaces, plus 2x GE RJ45 bypass ports, 128 GB of memory and 8TB (4 x 2TB) of hard disk storage.

Dual AC power supplies and bypass interfaces support resilient, always-on web security. The appliance integrates with Fortinet Security Fabric components such as FortiSandbox and FortiAnalyzer, supports IPv4 and IPv6, and offers active-active and active-backup high availability with session synchronisation.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
