Description

The FortiGate 7060E chassis is an 8U, 6-slot, 19-inch rack-mount chassis firewall built for high-end next-generation firewall deployments. This SKU supplies the chassis with 2x System Management Modules, 3x cooling fan trays and 4x hot-swappable AC PSUs, giving a redundant platform ready for FIM interface and FPM processor modules.

The chassis supports up to 4x FPM processor modules and 2x FIM interface modules, which are installed in the slots and ordered separately, to scale throughput and port density for large enterprise, data centre and service provider networks. It runs FortiOS with SPU acceleration for firewall, IPS and threat protection, and ships with 4-post and 2-post rack mounting kits, blank panels and four C15 power cords.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.

A: The 6-slot chassis supports up to 4x FPM processor modules and 2x FIM interface modules.
