Description

The FortiGate 6501F USG is a carrier-class, chassis-based next-generation firewall for large enterprise, data centre and service provider networks. In a 3RU rack-mount form factor it combines four 40/100GE QSFP28 slots and 24 1/10/25GE SFP28 slots with two 1TB NVMe drives for local storage and logging, and three hot-swappable AC power supplies in a 2+1 redundant configuration. This USG variant ships with 2x 1TB NVMe and 3x AC PSU.

The 6501F delivers up to 239 Gbps of firewall throughput, 150 Gbps of NGFW throughput and 100 Gbps of Threat Protection throughput, with support for 200 million concurrent sessions and up to 500 virtual domains. Dedicated 10GE SFP+ ports for HA and management, plus two GE RJ45 management ports, make it well suited to high-availability core and perimeter deployments.

• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
