Description

The Fortinet FG-6501F-LENC is a high-end FortiGate 6000F Series next-generation firewall chassis for large data centre and service provider edge deployments. It delivers 239 Gbps firewall throughput, 150 Gbps NGFW throughput and 100 Gbps threat protection throughput, with 4 x 100/40GE QSFP28 and 24 x 25/10GE SFP+ interfaces in a 3RU chassis. This variant includes 2 x 1TB NVMe internal storage and 3 x AC power supplies.

Security processing is handled by NP6, CP9 and DP3 processors running FortiOS, with native integration into the Fortinet Security Fabric. The chassis supports high availability configurations, 10 virtual domains by default (500 maximum) and up to 100,000 registered FortiClients, making it suited to consolidating high-capacity perimeter and internal segmentation firewalling. Two SFP+ SR 10GE transceivers are included.

• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
