Description

The FortiGate 4401F is a high-performance 4U data-centre and carrier-grade next-generation firewall delivering 1.15 Tbps of firewall throughput, 94 Gbps of IPS throughput and 82 Gbps of NGFW throughput. Built on Fortinet SPU NP7 and CP9 acceleration, it provides 12 x 100GE QSFP28 / 40GE QSFP+ slots and 25GE SFP28 / 10GE SFP+ / GE SFP slots for high-density core network segmentation. This AC power model includes 2x 2TB SSD onboard storage, which sets it apart from the FG-4400F with no onboard storage and from the DC models.

Four hot-swappable redundant AC power supplies, dual GE RJ45 management ports and Active/Active, Active/Passive and clustering high availability options make it suited to carrier, service provider and large enterprise deployments. Carrier-grade NAT and mobile security for 4G and 5G networks, including SGi LAN and N6 security, RAN access security and GTP-U inspection, extend its use to mobile core environments.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
