Description

The FortiGate 4201F-LENC is a hyperscale data-centre next-generation firewall (NGFW) with 8x 100GE/40GE QSFP28 slots and 18x 25GE/10GE SFP28 slots. Built on Fortinet SPU NP7 and CP9 processors, it delivers 800 Gbps of firewall throughput, 47 Gbps of NGFW throughput and 210 Gbps of IPsec VPN throughput. This LENC variant is the limited-encryption model, supplied with 2x 2TB SSD storage for local logging and 2 hot-swappable AC power supplies.

The 3 RU rack-mount chassis adds 2x GE RJ45 management ports, a console port and a USB port. It supports Active/Active, Active/Passive and clustering high availability, up to 500 virtual domains, and FortiGuard security service bundles under FortiOS. A Hyperscale Firewall licence option accelerates session setup and logging for very high connection rates.
