Description

The FG-401E-USG is a 1RU enterprise next-generation firewall and Secure SD-WAN appliance built on Fortinet SPU NP6 and CP9 processors. It provides 18x GE RJ45 ports (16 switch ports plus dedicated MGMT and HA ports), 16x GE SFP slots and 2x 240GB onboard SSD storage for local logging and reporting, with up to 32 Gbps of firewall throughput.

IPS, application control, SSL inspection and threat protection run on the same platform, with 20 Gbps of IPsec VPN throughput for site-to-site connectivity. A built-in wireless LAN controller manages up to 512 FortiAPs and a switch controller manages up to 72 FortiSwitches, while Active-Active, Active-Passive and clustering high availability suit core and branch edge deployments.

• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
