Description

The Fortinet FortiGate 300E is a 1 RU enterprise next-generation firewall with 16 GE RJ45 ports, 16 GE SFP slots and 2 GE RJ45 management ports. This FG-300E model has no local storage. Built on Fortinet's purpose-built SPU architecture with NP6 and CP9 processors, it delivers up to 32 Gbps firewall throughput, 20 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput and 3 Gbps threat protection throughput, making it well suited to branch, campus edge and mid-sized enterprise network perimeters.

Running FortiOS, the FG-300E combines firewall, IPS, application control, VPN and malware protection in a single appliance, with support for FortiGuard security services bundles. It also acts as an integrated wireless controller and switch controller, managing up to 48 FortiSwitches and 512 FortiAPs, and supports Active-Active, Active-Passive and clustering high availability configurations.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
