Description

The Fortinet FG-2200E-USG is a FortiGate 2200E data centre next generation firewall in a 2RU chassis, built for high-throughput perimeter and core segmentation. It delivers 158 Gbps of firewall throughput (1518 byte UDP), 21.8 Gbps IPS and 13.5 Gbps NGFW performance, with SPU NP6 and CP9 hardware acceleration. This is the USG (US government/TAA) variant with dual hot-swappable AC power supplies and no onboard storage.

Connectivity includes 4 x 40GE QSFP+ slots, 20 x 25GE SFP28/10GE SFP+/GE SFP slots (18 data and 2 HA) and 14 x GE RJ45 ports (12 data and 2 management). Running FortiOS, it supports real-time SSL inspection including TLS 1.3, Zero Trust Network Access enforcement, VXLAN segmentation, Secure SD-WAN and SPU-accelerated CGNAT for 4G/5G environments.
