Description

The Fortinet FortiGate 200F USG is a 1RU next-generation firewall and Secure SD-WAN appliance built for mid-sized to large enterprise campus and branch deployments. This US region (USG) hardware-only SKU provides 18x GE RJ45 ports (including dedicated MGMT and HA ports), 8x GE SFP slots and 4x 10GE SFP+ slots, with SoC4 and CP9 security processors accelerating threat protection. It delivers 27 Gbps firewall throughput, 5 Gbps IPS and 3.5 Gbps NGFW performance with no internal SSD.

The FortiGate 200F combines NGFW, Secure SD-WAN and secure web gateway functions in a single appliance, with TLS 1.3 deep inspection, scalable IPsec and SSL VPN, and integration with the Fortinet Security Fabric and FortiGuard services. It supports up to 64 FortiSwitches and 256 FortiAPs, with active-active and active-passive high availability for resilient network edge and campus core designs.

Fortinet provides robust warranty coverage for its hardware and software products, with durations and terms based on product category:
• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.

A: No. The FG-200F-USG is a hardware-only model with no internal storage. Models with local SSD storage are sold under a different SKU.
