Description

The Fortinet FG-1100E-USG is a 2RU next-generation firewall built for the core of the data network, combining 2x 40GE QSFP+, 4x 25GE SFP28, 4x 10GE SFP+, 8x GE SFP and 18x GE RJ45 interfaces. It is the USG (US government/TAA) edition, supplied with two AC power supplies and no onboard SSD, which sets it apart from other FortiGate 1100E variants.

SPU NP6 and CP9 hardware acceleration delivers up to 80 Gbps firewall throughput (1518 byte UDP) alongside 12.5 Gbps IPS and 9.8 Gbps NGFW throughput. The platform runs FortiOS with Security Fabric integration and supports Active-Active, Active-Passive and clustering high availability for data centre edge, campus core and high-speed segmentation deployments.

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
