Description

The Arista DCS-7816L-FCM is a 7800R4 Series fabric cooling module for the Arista 7816L 16-slot modular chassis. It is installed in fabric slot 6 and includes 16 user-serviceable fan modules, delivering hot-swappable cooling with graceful degradation for AI spine and data centre deployments.

The module is required in slot 6 of the 7816L alongside five 7800R4 fabric modules in slots 1 to 5. It supports the front-to-rear airflow design of the 7800R4 platform, and individual fan modules can be replaced in the field using the FAN-7800-HS spare.
