Description

The Arista FAN-7000-F is a spare fan module for Arista 7000 Series fixed-configuration data centre switches, delivering front-to-rear airflow (port-side to power-side). It is a field-replaceable, hot-swappable replacement part for supported 7150, 7124SX(FX), 7050, 7050X, 7280 and 7048-A switches, keeping cooling intact after a fan failure without taking the switch out of service.

This is the front-to-rear variant (F); the rear-to-front counterpart is the FAN-7000-R. Airflow direction should be matched across the fan modules and power supplies in a switch, so choose the FAN-7000-F where the rest of the chassis is configured for front-to-rear cooling.
