Description

The Moxa UPort 1650-8-G2-Hub is a USB 3.2 Gen 1 to 8-port RS-232/422/485 serial converter that adds 3 downstream USB ports for cascading, making it well suited to industrial automation, data acquisition and device-management setups that need many serial connections from a single USB host. It supports 4-wire RS-422/485 and 2-wire RS-485 applications and operates from 0 to 60°C.

Powered by an external 12 to 48 VDC adapter, the converter can be cascaded with up to 3 UPort-G2 devices to reach up to 32 serial ports without extra power adapters. Baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps are supported, including non-standard rates, and drivers are available for Windows, Linux and macOS. A latching USB cable design and double-sided corner LEDs for power, TX and RX status make installation and troubleshooting straightforward.
