Description

The Moxa OBU-102-SS-LC is a 2-channel optical fibre bypass unit with four single-mode LC ports, built to add relay bypass to any network switch that lacks it. If a node loses power, traffic passes straight through to the next node in a linear topology, keeping the rest of the network running. It supports Fast, Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet fibre connections with an optical switching time of 10 ms maximum.

The unit is housed in an IP30 metal enclosure rated for -20 to 70°C operation and mounts on a DIN-rail, with wall mounting available using an optional kit. Redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC power inputs with reverse polarity protection and a low 0.72 W power draw make it well suited to industrial networks where uptime matters.
