Description

The Moxa TCF-142-S-SC-T is an industrial RS-232/422/485 to single-mode fibre converter with an SC connector, built to extend serial links up to 40 km. It supports both ring and point-to-point fibre topologies and operates across a wide -40 to 75°C temperature range, making it suited to harsh industrial environments where serial devices need to be connected over long distances or through electrically noisy areas.

Fibre transmission helps reduce signal interference and protects serial links from electrical interference and chemical corrosion. Automatic baudrate detection, automatic data direction control for RS-485 and selectable termination simplify installation, while the compact metal housing and 12 to 48 VDC power input suit control cabinets and edge connectivity deployments.
