Description

The Moxa TCF-142-S-SC is an industrial RS-232/422/485 to single-mode fibre converter with an SC connector, designed to extend serial links up to 40 km over fibre. It supports both ring and point-to-point topologies, making it well suited to factory automation, utilities and transport deployments where serial devices must be linked across long distances or electrically noisy environments.

The converter operates across 0 to 60°C and is powered from a 12 to 48 VDC input with reverse polarity and overload current protection. A compact aluminium housing, wall mounting as standard with an optional DIN-rail kit, and automatic baudrate detection make installation straightforward, while ADDC handles RS-485 data direction control automatically.
