Description

The Moxa TCF-142-M-ST-RM is an industrial RS-232/422/485 to multi-mode fibre converter with an ST connector, built as a slide-in module for the Moxa NRack system. It extends serial transmission distance up to 5 km over multi-mode fibre and improves noise immunity in electrically harsh industrial environments. This 0 to 60°C variant suits controlled cabinets and control rooms.

With two serial ports, automatic data direction control (ADDC) for RS-485 and support for baudrates from 50 bps to 921.6 kbps including non-standard rates, it integrates easily with legacy serial devices. A rugged IP30 metal housing and overload current protection make it dependable for factory automation, utilities and building infrastructure.
