Description

The PTC-101-M-ST-HV is an industrial 10/100BaseT(X) to 100BaseFX media converter with a multi-mode ST fibre port and a wide-range HV power input of 100 to 240 VAC/VDC. It extends Ethernet over multi-mode fibre up to 5 km on 50/125 µm or 4 km on 62.5/125 µm cable, and operates across a -40 to 85°C temperature range.

Built in a metal housing for DIN-rail mounting, this converter complies with the mandatory sections of IEC 61850-3, making it well suited to power substation and harsh industrial deployments. An integrated power supply removes the need for an external transformer, and Link Fault Pass-Through helps surface fibre or copper link faults across the connection.
