Description

The Moxa MGate MB3470I-TB-G2-T is a 4-port advanced Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, including proprietary Modbus serial protocols. It provides four software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports on 5-pin spring-type terminal blocks with 2 kV isolation, and is rated for a wide -40 to 75C operating temperature range, making it well suited to harsh industrial and substation environments.

Two 10/100 Ethernet ports can be configured for cascading or dual-subnet network designs. Agent mode actively polls serial devices and caches data for low-latency responses, while up to 32 Modbus TCP clients and 32 server connections are supported. Redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a relay output and IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 compliance round out a gateway built for dependable, secure operation.
