Description

The Moxa MGate 5123/KC is an industrial CANopen, J1939 and proprietary CAN (CAN 2.0A/B) to PROFINET IO protocol gateway, supplied as the KC certified (Korea) variant with a standard -10 to 60°C operating temperature range. It acts as a CAN master and presents CAN data to a PROFINET controller as a PROFINET IO device (class B), making it a practical way to bring CAN-based drives, sensors and engine controllers into a PROFINET automation network.

Two 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet ports support Ethernet cascading and dual subnet deployment, while a 2 kV isolated CAN port with a software configurable 120 ohm terminator protects the fieldbus side. Dual redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and a relay output suit control cabinet installations, and the compact IP30 metal housing mounts on a DIN rail. Configuration is handled through a web console over HTTPS, with a microSD card slot for configuration backup and duplication.
