Description

The Moxa MGate 5122 is a 1-port CAN to EtherNet/IP protocol gateway that connects CANopen, J1939 and proprietary CAN (CAN 2.0A/B) devices to an EtherNet/IP network. This standard model is rated for -10 to 60°C operation and acts as an EtherNet/IP adapter with an SNMP agent, making it a practical choice for integrating CAN-based machinery and vehicles into PLC-controlled plants.

Built in a metal IP30 DIN-rail housing, the gateway provides a 2 kV isolated CAN port, dual 10/100 Ethernet ports with cascading and dual subnet support, and redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs with a relay output. A microSD slot supports configuration backup and duplication, and the web console simplifies setup and diagnostics.
