Description

The MGate MB3470I-TB-G2 is a 4-port RS-232/422/485 serial-to-Ethernet Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus TCP, RTU and ASCII, including proprietary serial variants. This variant has four serial ports on 5-pin spring-type terminal blocks, 2 kV serial isolation and a standard -10 to 60 C operating temperature range, making it suited to connecting serial Modbus devices to Ethernet-based SCADA and control systems.

Agent mode actively polls serial Modbus devices and caches data for low-latency responses, while dual 10/100 RJ45 ports support Ethernet cascading or dual-subnet designs. Redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a relay output and an IP30 metal housing suit control cabinet and DIN-rail deployments, and IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 compliance supports secure industrial networks.
