Description

The Moxa MGate MB3470I-G2 is a 4-port Modbus RTU/ASCII to Modbus TCP gateway for connecting serial devices to Ethernet networks. It provides four software-selectable RS-232/422/485 DB9 serial ports with 2 kV isolation, dual 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports for cascade or dual-subnet use, and supports up to 32 client and 32 server connections. It operates across a standard -10 to 60°C range in an IP30 metal housing.

Agent mode improves data exchange efficiency between serial and Ethernet devices, while HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3 support help secure device management. Built-in RS-485 terminator and pull high/low resistors are software-selectable, and the 12 to 48 VDC power input and DIN-rail mounting suit control cabinets, building automation and factory floor deployments.
