Description

The Moxa MGate MB3470-TB-G2 is a 4-port Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus TCP, RTU and ASCII, connecting serial devices to Ethernet networks in industrial automation. It provides 4 software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports on 5-pin spring-type terminal blocks and 2 x 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet ports that support cascading or dual subnet design. This non-isolated variant operates from -10 to 60°C.

The gateway supports up to 32 client and 32 server connections, redundant dual 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and a relay output. Built-in Modbus communication test tools, diagnostics and traffic monitoring simplify commissioning and troubleshooting, and the metal IP30 housing suits control cabinet and DIN-rail installations.
