Description

The MGate MB3280 is a 2-port Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, linking serial field devices to Ethernet networks. It supports up to 16 simultaneous Modbus TCP masters and up to 31 RTU/ASCII slaves per serial port, with two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 ports and power via power jack or terminal block.

Built in a compact IP30 metal housing, the MB3280 accepts 12 to 48 VDC and operates from 0 to 60°C. Auto Device Routing and flexible routing by TCP port or IP address simplify setup, while the 1.5 kV magnetic isolation on the Ethernet port protects the connection in industrial environments.
