Description

The Moxa MGate MB3270I-TB-G2 is a 2-port Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus RTU/ASCII and Modbus TCP. It provides two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports on 5-pin spring-type terminal blocks with 2 kV serial isolation, plus two 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet ports for cascade or dual-subnet use. It is rated for standard -10 to 60°C operation.

The gateway supports both Modbus TCP client and server modes, with up to 32 client and 32 server connections. A metal IP30 housing with DIN-rail mounting suits control cabinets, and security functions include HTTPS (TLS 1.2), SNMPv3 and AES encryption. Hazardous location approvals (ATEX, Class I Division 2, IECEx) and DNV maritime certification with 24 VDC input support deployment in demanding industrial environments.
