Description

The Moxa MGate MB3270I-G2-T is a 2-port Modbus TCP gateway that converts between Modbus RTU/ASCII and Modbus TCP, linking serial field devices to Ethernet networks. It provides 2 software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports on DB9 connectors with 2 kV isolation, and is rated for wide-temperature operation from -40 to 75°C, making it well suited to industrial automation and harsh environments.

Two 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet ports can be configured for cascade or dual-subnet use, and the gateway supports Modbus TCP client and server as well as RTU/ASCII client and server (Agent mode). Security features include HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3, and management is available via web console, Device Search Utility, MXconfig and MXview One. The metal IP30 housing accepts a 12 to 48 VDC input.
