Description

The MGate MB3270I-G2 is a 2-port advanced Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII or proprietary serial protocols. It combines two RJ45 Ethernet ports, two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 DB9 serial ports with 2 kV isolation, and a standard -10 to 60°C operating range in a compact IP30 metal housing.

Agent mode actively polls serial devices and caches data for low-latency responses, while Auto Device Routing, Ethernet cascading or dual subnet operation, and built-in traffic monitoring simplify integration and troubleshooting. It supports up to 32 client and 32 server connections, 12 to 48 VDC input, and security features including HTTPS (TLS 1.2) and SNMPv3, with IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 compliance for industrial automation deployments.
