Description

The MGate MB3270-TB-G2 is a 2-port Modbus gateway that converts Modbus RTU/ASCII serial devices to Modbus TCP. It provides two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports on 5-pin spring-type terminal blocks and two 10/100 Ethernet ports, and suits standard-temperature (10-60°C) industrial automation cabinets. Agent mode actively polls connected devices and caches the data for fast, low-latency responses.

The gateway supports up to 32 Modbus TCP client connections and 32 Modbus TCP server connections, with Auto Device Routing and routing by TCP port or IP address to suit different system architectures. Built-in Modbus communication test tools, traffic diagnostics and one-click diagnostics simplify commissioning and support, and the unit runs from a 12 to 48 VDC supply.
