Description

The Moxa MGate-MB3270-T-IEX is a 2-port Modbus TCP/RTU/ASCII gateway built for hazardous-location industrial networks. It converts between Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU/ASCII, letting serial and Ethernet masters and slaves communicate in almost any combination. This IECEx-certified variant operates from -40 to 75°C and does not include serial isolation.

It supports up to 32 Modbus TCP client and 32 server connections and up to 62 RTU/ASCII slaves, with two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports and two 10/100 Ethernet ports for daisy-chain cascading. Redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a relay output and an IP30 DIN-rail housing suit control cabinets, hazardous areas and maritime installations.
