Description

The Moxa MGate MB3270-G2-T is a 2-port advanced Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII. This wide-temperature model has two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports on DB9 male connectors with no serial isolation, and is rated for -40 to 75°C operation, making it well suited to connecting serial Modbus devices to an Ethernet network in harsh industrial environments.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet ports support Ethernet cascading or dual subnet designs. The gateway supports transparent mode and agent (poll and cache) mode, handles up to 32 Modbus TCP clients and 32 servers, and offers dual redundant 12-48 V DC power inputs and a relay output. The metal IP30 housing mounts on a DIN rail or wall.
