Description

The MGate MB3170-T-IEX is a 1-port advanced Modbus TCP to RS-232/422/485 serial gateway that connects Modbus TCP clients and servers with Modbus RTU/ASCII serial devices. This IEX version is built for harsh and hazardous sites, with a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C and ATEX / IECEx hazardous-location certification.

Two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with built-in cascading simplify wiring, while 12 to 48 VDC power input and a software-selectable serial port make it suited to industrial automation, utilities and process control. Security functions include HTTPS (TLS 1.2), SNMPv3 and AES encryption, and the gateway can be configured through the web console, MGate Manager or Device Search Utility.
