Description

The Moxa MGate EIP3270I is a 2-port industrial protocol gateway that converts between EtherNet/IP (PCCC) and serial DF1, allowing Allen-Bradley and Rockwell serial devices to connect to an EtherNet/IP network. The 'I' model adds 2 kV serial isolation on both DB9 serial ports, protecting equipment in electrically noisy plant environments, and operates across 0 to 60°C.

Each of the two DB9 male serial ports supports RS-232 and RS-422 with baud rates from 1200 bps to 921.6 kbps, while two 10/100 Ethernet ports with built-in cascading simplify wiring. Configuration is handled through MGate Manager or Telnet console, and the gateway supports up to 8 simultaneous EtherNet/IP client/server pairs in an IP30 housing powered from 12 to 48 VDC.
