Description

The MGate 5217I-1200-T is a 2-port industrial protocol gateway that converts Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP to BACnet/IP for building automation. It supports up to 1200 BACnet/IP data points and operates across a wide -40 to 75°C temperature range, making it suited to plant rooms, cabinets and other demanding installations.

Two RS-232/422/485 serial ports with 2 kV isolation connect Modbus serial devices, while dual 10/100 Ethernet ports support built-in cascading. It accepts 24 VAC or 12 to 48 VDC power, mounts on a DIN rail, and includes security features based on IEC 62443 such as HTTPS and SNMPv3.
