Description

The MGate 5192-T is an industrial IEC 61850 protocol gateway with 1 serial port and a -40 to 75°C wide operating temperature range. It acts as an IEC 61850 MMS client and converts data to Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP, DNP3 serial/TCP/UDP, IEC 60870-5-101 or IEC 60870-5-104, making it well suited to power substation and renewable energy deployments.

Housed in a rugged DIN-rail metal enclosure, it combines a 2 kV isolated RS-232/422/485 serial port with 2 x 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports. It meets IEEE 1613 and IEC 61850-3 requirements and supports web console configuration, offline configuration via CSV file, and microSD card backup and duplication of settings.
