Description

The Moxa MGate 5135-T is an industrial Modbus to EtherNet/IP protocol gateway with 1 serial port and a -40 to 75°C wide operating temperature range. It connects Modbus RTU, ASCII and TCP devices to an EtherNet/IP network, acting as a Modbus client on one side and an EtherNet/IP adapter on the other. The single RS-232/422/485 serial port and dual 10/100 Ethernet ports make it well suited to integrating serial instruments, meters and controllers into Rockwell-style EtherNet/IP environments.

Built for harsh industrial installations, the MGate 5135-T uses a compact metal DIN-rail housing with dual redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and a relay output. The serial port carries 2 kV isolation, configuration is handled through a secure web console, and a microSD slot supports configuration backup and duplication. The design follows IEC 62443-4-2 with Secure Boot for added cybersecurity assurance.
