Description

The Moxa MGate 5111-T is an industrial protocol gateway that converts Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP, EtherNet/IP or PROFINET data to a PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave. This -T model is the wide-temperature version, rated for -40 to 75°C operation, making it suited to unheated cabinets, outdoor enclosures and harsh plant environments. It provides two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports, one RS-232/422/485 serial port and one PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave port supporting 9600 bps to 12 Mbps.

Configuration is handled through a web-based wizard, with a microSD slot for configuration backup, duplication and event logs. Redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs, a relay output, 2 kV serial isolation and a metal IP30 DIN-rail housing support reliable long-term deployment. Built-in traffic monitoring and diagnostic information help with troubleshooting, and security features are based on IEC 62443.
