Description

The MGate 5102-PBM-PN-T is a wide temperature PROFIBUS to PROFINET protocol gateway that connects a PROFIBUS DP-V1 master network to PROFINET IO controllers. It lets PROFIBUS PLCs, drives and field devices communicate with a PROFINET network without replacing existing equipment, and it is rated for operation from -40 to 75°C for harsh industrial environments.

The gateway provides one PROFIBUS DP-V1 master port with 2 kV isolation, two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with built-in cascading, redundant dual DC power inputs and a relay output. Automatic scanning of PROFIBUS devices, a web-based GUI for I/O data visualisation and a microSD slot for configuration backup and event logs simplify commissioning and maintenance in DIN-rail installations.
