Description

The Moxa MGate 5102-PBM-PN is a 1-port industrial protocol gateway that converts between a PROFIBUS DP-V1 master and a PROFINET IO device. It lets PROFIBUS PLCs, drives and field devices connect to a PROFINET host without replacing existing equipment. This standard temperature model operates from 0 to 60°C and is housed in a rugged IP30 metal DIN-rail enclosure.

The gateway provides two 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports with built-in cascading, 1024 bytes of input and output data, redundant 12 to 48 VDC power inputs and a relay output. A microSD slot supports configuration backup, event logs and data buffering, while a web console, SNMP and HTTPS/SSH support simplify monitoring and secure remote maintenance.
