Description

The IMC-P21GA-G2-SX-SC is an industrial PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet-to-fibre media converter that links a 10/100/1000BaseT(X) PoE+ copper port to a 1000BaseSX multi-mode SC fibre port, with a typical reach of 550 m on OM1, OM2, OM3 and OM4 multi-mode fibre. It can power remote devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points with up to 30 W in standard mode, or up to 36 W in high-power mode.

Built for demanding installations, it has a metal housing, DIN-rail mounting and dual power inputs on a removable terminal block. The PoE+ port complies with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, and the unit supports PoE diagnostics and Link Fault Pass-through to help keep fibre-linked field devices online and easy to troubleshoot.
