Description

The IMC-P21GA-G2 is an industrial PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet-to-fibre media converter that links a 10/100/1000BaseT(X) copper port to a 100/1000Base SFP slot. This model has an open SFP slot rather than a fixed SC fibre port, so you choose the SFP module to suit your fibre type and distance, with support for SX, LX or selected SFP modules for runs up to 80 km. The copper port acts as IEEE 802.3af/at power sourcing equipment, delivering up to 30 W in standard mode and up to 36 W in high-power mode to devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points.

It is built for industrial deployments, with redundant dual DC power inputs, an operating temperature range of -10 to 60 degrees Celsius, and surge and EMS protection. Store-and-forward and pass-through modes plus 16 KB jumbo frame support make it suitable for surveillance, transport and outdoor wireless installations that need to extend PoE+ devices over fibre. SFP modules are sold separately.
