Description

The IMC-P21A-G2-S-SC is an industrial PoE+ Fast Ethernet-to-fibre media converter that links a 10/100BaseT(X) copper port to a 100Base-FX single-mode fibre port with an SC connector. Rated for 40 km typical distance on single-mode fibre and operation from -10 to 60°C, it suits long-haul field deployments such as surveillance cameras, wireless access points and remote industrial devices.

Acting as power sourcing equipment, the converter is IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at compliant and delivers up to 36 W over the copper port, so a powered device can be installed at the far end of a fibre run without a separate power supply. The metal DIN-rail housing, redundant dual DC power inputs and 1.5 kV magnetic isolation protection support dependable operation in industrial cabinets.
