Description

The IMC-P21A-G2-M-SC is an industrial PoE+ media converter that converts 10/100BaseT(X) copper to 100BaseFX multi-mode fibre over an SC connector. It acts as power sourcing equipment (PSE), delivering up to 36 W on the PoE+ port to power an IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at device such as an IP camera or wireless access point at the end of a fibre run.

Built for industrial deployments, it has a metal IP40 housing with DIN-rail mounting, redundant dual DC power inputs and an operating range of -10 to 60°C. It supports store-and-forward and pass-through modes, with 10/100BaseT(X) auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDI-X on the copper port. Typical multi-mode distances reach 2 km over OM1 and 5 km over OM2, OM3 or OM4 fibre.
