Description

The IMC-P101-S-SC-T is an industrial PoE media converter that converts 10/100BaseT(X) copper to 100BaseFX single-mode fibre over an SC connector, reaching distances of up to 40 km. It acts as PoE power sourcing equipment, supplying up to 30 W to a powered device, and its wide -40 to 75°C operating range suits outdoor cabinets, substations and factory floors.

The metal housing mounts on a DIN rail and accepts redundant 12 to 57 VDC dual power inputs on HW Rev. 1.1.0 and later, with a relay output to flag a power failure. Built-in 1.5 kV magnetic isolation, overload current protection and store-and-forward or pass-through operation make it a dependable link for extending PoE cameras, access points and other powered devices over long fibre runs.

Features

- 10/100BaseT(X) auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDI-X
- IEEE 802.3af PoE, plus 802.3at PoE+ on HW Rev. 1.1.0 and later
- Power failure alarm by relay output
- Store-and-forward and pass-through modes
- Wide -40 to 75°C operating temperature for harsh environments
- Redundant dual DC power inputs
- Rugged metal housing with DIN-rail mounting
