Description

The Moxa IMC-P101-S-SC is an industrial PoE media converter that links 10/100BaseT(X) copper Ethernet to a 100BaseFX single-mode fibre run over an SC connector. It acts as power sourcing equipment, supplying up to 30 W to a powered device over its RJ45 port, which makes it well suited to extending PoE devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points across long fibre distances. This single-mode SC model with a 0 to 60°C operating range reaches a typical distance of 40 km.

Built in a metal housing for DIN-rail mounting, it accepts a 12 to 57 VDC input with redundant dual DC power inputs and overload current protection. A relay output raises an alarm on power failure, and the unit supports both store-and-forward and pass-through modes for flexible deployment in industrial networks.
