Description

The Moxa IMC-P101-M-ST-T is an industrial PoE Ethernet-to-fibre media converter that links a 10/100BaseT(X) copper port to a 100BaseFX multi-mode fibre port with an ST connector. It acts as IEEE 802.3af power sourcing equipment, so it can power a connected device over the same copper cable, and the -T variant is rated for a wide -40 to 75°C operating range.

With a typical multi-mode reach of 4 km at 1300 nm, redundant dual DC power inputs and a relay output for power failure alarms, it suits factory floors, outdoor cabinets, transport and utility installations where copper devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points need a fibre uplink. It supports store-and-forward and pass-through modes and includes 1.5 kV built-in magnetic isolation protection.
