Description

The Moxa IMC-P101-M-ST is an industrial PoE media converter that links 10/100BaseT(X) copper Ethernet to a 100BaseFX multi-mode fibre connection over an ST connector. It acts as PoE power sourcing equipment, so a single unit can extend a fibre run to a camera, wireless access point or other powered device at the copper end. This is the standard 0 to 60 C multi-mode ST model, with a typical multi-mode distance of 4 km.

Built in a metal housing for DIN-rail mounting, the converter takes redundant dual DC power inputs (46 to 57 VDC) and includes a relay output for power failure alarms. It supports store-and-forward and pass-through modes, with auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDI-X on the copper port, making it a straightforward fit for industrial cabinets and field installations.
